Piping and Structural design for the installation of the P7 process upgrades in the P Plant at Fuji’s Greenwood facility. Scope included equipment layouts, detailed process skid drawings, schematic plan drawings and detailed isometrics with bill of materials. Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide structural design for process vessel support and access platforms.

Mechanical and Piping design for Shelby 526 Paper Conversion upgrade with PDA Design for PPG.  Scope included forehearth layout modifications, forehearth combustion system modifications, new chopper based forming equipment installation, new binder distribution system, new process dryer system, forming utility piping replacement, and HVAC ductwork modifications.

Mechanical and Piping design for 6000 gallon glass lined reactor system for pharmaceutical production facility with SYS for Irix.  Scope included equipment layout and piping design drawings.

Mechanical, Piping, and Structural design for the main utility systems for Clean Burn Fuel's new 60 million gallon per year ethanol production facility in Raeford, NC.  Scope included the development of P&ID's, equipment layouts, and piping design for the chilled water, cooling water, and steam production systems. Scope also included HVAC and plumbing design for the chiller building, boiler building, and control room building.  Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide structural and foundation design for the chiller building, boiler building, and control room building.

Process, Mechanical, and Piping review of existing Acrylonitrile and Sulfur Trioxide storage and distribution systems at Tiarco's Greenville facility to assist in the development of documentation to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.  Scope included review of system materials of construction, development of P&ID's for storage and reactor systems, review of vessel  design and associated relief system calculations, and review of building ventilation systems.

Piping Design for Shelby 524 Forehearth Oxyfuel upgrade with PDA Design for PPG.  Scope included piping detail design for conversion of the existing forehearth multi zone combustion system from a mixed natural gas and air fired system to a natural gas and pure oxygen fired system using individual mixing burners.

Ventilation system design for new paint booth exhaust and make up air systems for pipe fabrication facility with Project Integration for BF Shaw. Scope included equipment specification, layout, and ductwork design drawings.

Mechanical and Piping design for Chester 501 furnace rebuild with PDA Design for PPG. Scope included modification and replacement of existing 30" Incoloy pollution control ductwork, replacement of high temperature expansion joints, modification of melter stack cap doors, replacement of process cooling water piping, addition of back up air compressor system, and replacement of batch house system silo outlet valving.  Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide structural design for the rework of the quench tower access platforms to accomodate ductwork modifications.

Process, Piping and Structural design for the installation of a new 120,000 gallon waste storage system for Parachem’s Simpsonville facility. System included four (4) 30,000 gallon storage tanks and a 675 gallon waste collection sump with a duplex set of 150 gpm diaphragm pumps. Scope included P&ID’s, equipment layout, piping design, and control system specification. Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide foundation design for the storage tanks.

Piping and Structural design for new thermal fluid primary/secondary system with PKF-Mark III for Camden County MUA’s new sludge drying system facility. System included two (2) 12.0 MMBTU/hr gas fired thermal fluid heaters, a common system expansion tank, a primary pump skid, and six (6) secondary pump skids provided by Sigma Thermal. Scope included equipment layout, piping design drawings, pipe support design, and system stress analysis. Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide structural pipe supports for the thermal oil and sludge transport systems.

Process, Mechanical, and Structural design for a new 1000 liter stainless steel, hot water jacketed, atmospheric mixing and weighing system for organic supplement production facility with C3 for Gaia. Scope included jacketed vessel design, agitator system specification, weigh cell system specification, and equipment layout. Worked with Carolina Design PC to provide agitator support and access platform design for the system.
